Young returned to Los Angeles where she landed the roles of Cathy Metsker, Mel Gibson Madeleine Stowe & Greg Kinnear's We Were Soldiers; and Rachel for JJ Abrams Mission Impossible: 3 with Tom Cruise & Keri russe. Young has also produced several independently-produced films in the city, including the Sundance popular The Freebie starring Dax Shepard and A Country Remedy starring Joshua Leonard who she was a part of the film in her home state that is North Carolina. Young has had a successful career on TV following her move to LA.
