Molly Tarlov is an American actress best known for her starring role as Sadie Saxton in the teen comedy-drama television show Awkward in 2011, which she has been on since 2011. Tarlov, the youngest of two girls was raised and grew up in Manhattan, New York. Tarlov began her professional career in the tenth grade when she was Mrs. Peterson in a production of Bye Bye Birdie at the Little Red School House that was a huge success with seven grade students. Her summers were spent studying at NYU Tisch and Interlochen Center for the Arts. She studied a wide range of acting styles and received her bachelor of Arts in Theatre at Bennington College. The Atlantic Theater Company was an additional place where she learned. She also incorporated writing into her show during the LAByrinth Theater master course. Molly changed her winter coat for glasses in black, and set off to Los Angeles. In no time, she landed a 3-word role on iCarly that attracted the notice of her parents. Molly has starred on numerous shows on television and also produced Caitlin for Winnie Holzman as well as Savannah Dooley in ABC Family's Huge. Molly is a basketball player who likes to believe she's better than she really is. Her favourite writers include David Mamet, Henrik Ibsen and Lauren Iungerich.
