Jennifer Garner was born on the 17th of April, 1972 at Houston, Texas but was raised in Charleston, West Virginia. The father of Jennifer Garner, William John Garner, was a chemical engineer at Union Carbide. Patricia Ann Garner, the mother of Patricia Ann, taught at the local college. In order to follow in the footsteps of her father, she completed a degree in chemical engineering. Then she moved into New York in order to follow her dreams as an actor. In 2014, Garner has been a part of the board of trustees for this organization, pushing for early childhood education. She has been visiting families throughout Early Steps to School Success - a program designed for parents to learn how to help their child's education - acting as an ambassador.
