Julia-roberts

Julia Fiona Roberts' parents are Walter Grady Roberts and Betty Lou Bredemus. She is the fourth Roberts generation that has lived in Atlanta starting with her farmer great-grandfather John Pendleton Roberts. Her father was a young man when he became interested in theater. He acted on his Emory University campus in 1952 as well as in various productions around Atlanta. He joined the air force in 1953. While working in Biloxi Mississippi was cast in an army production that featured Betty Lou Bredemus who was also in the air force. They got married in 1955. Their first child, Eric Anthony, was born in 1956. In 1957, the couple quit the Air Force and Walter enrolled at Tulane University in New Orleans Louisiana. Walter was employed by Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. In 1960, the couple relocated into Decatur Georgia. Walter and Betty Lou started production in 1964 for the local Saturday morning children's TV show Bum Bum and His Buddies, which they funded themselves. In 1964, Betty Lou and Walter founded their own organization called the Actors and Writers Workshop. It ran for six years. Lelisa Billingsley who is also referred to as Lisa, was born in 1965. Julia Billingsley followed in 1967.
